The eighth child was Paul Fredrik. He married Selma Mabel Nelson at Fairfield, Iowa. She was born at Alexis, Illinois in Warren County. Paul worked for a time for the Hoskins Funeral and Furniture Store in Fairfield. They moved to Washington, Iowa where he worked for McNamera Furniture and Undertaking. For a time he travelled extensively in Iowa, Illinois and adjoining states Chittenden and Eastman, and then later moved to Dixon, Illinois where he worked for the Illinois State Health Dept. as a policeman in the State park. NOTE: At the time of this information (1968) Mabel was still living with her son Charles and family in Dixon - this info will be corrected ASAP.
Paul found rest at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Dixon, Illinois.
