Obituary (1922)
Eva Charlotte Sodergren was born Nov. 22nd, 1874 at Sodre ve Socken, Sweden. The family came to America in 1880 and settled in Jefferson County. She was confirmed in the Lutheran church at New Sweden in 1889.
Oct. 3, 1899, she was married to Frank C. Carlson and all their married life was spent in Burlington until ten years ago the family moved to Minnesota.
She died May 2, age 48 years, 5 months and 10 days.
Besides the sorrowing husband, she leaves the following children:
Frances Matilda, now Mrs. Harry Burdick of Burlington,
Victor LeRoy and
Norton La Verne at home.
Two grandsons, Wayne and Dale Burdick of Burlington also mourn the loss of a devoted grandmother.
Besides these she leaves her aged mother, Mrs. Hanna Sodergren of Lockridge,
and the following brothers and sisters:
August of Olds,
Charles and Archie of Burlington,
Paul of Dixon, Ill,
Victor of Lockridge,
Mrs. Garfield Messer of Lockridge, and
Mrs. John Danielson of Fosston, Minn.
