Obituary: Margaret Hoffmeyer-MooreStratford Herald, The death occurred in Ellice on Sunday, Sept 27, 1914, of Mrs. George Moore, at the age of 72 years and 27 days. Deceased's final illness was of only a week's duration. She was born in Fullarton, having been one of the pioneer settlers of that township, but more recently had resided on lot 16, con 4, Ellce.
The late Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband and five daughters - Mrs. A. Steppler, Ellice; Mrs. Godford (Godfrey) Ingram, in the West; Mrs. Jesse Looker, Logan; Miss Sarah Moore, at home; Mrs. Ed Haddock, 219 Caledonia St., Stratford,

Obituary: George Moore
Stratford Herald -The death occurred on Saturday, June 5, 1915, of George Moore, an old and highly respected resident of Ellice. In 1844 Mr. Moore came to Canada from Nottingham,England, where he was born in 1832, and settled in Ellice, marrying Miss Margaret Hoffmeyer,(*My note: George Moore was her second husband, see above) of Fullarton, and residing there until his death. He was 83 years of age and was predeceased by Mrs. Moore some eight months ago.
He leaves two daughters - Miss Sarah, at home and Mrs. E. F. Haddock, of this city. The funeral took place from his late residence to Sebringville cemetery on Monday afternoon

Mrs. John Schellenberger (Eva Hoffmeyer), a life-long resident of North-East Fullarton, passed away on Wednesday, in her 71st year. He husband died four years ago. She was woman who was highly esteemed by her neighbors, friends and the members of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Seebach’s Hill, of which she had been a member practically all her life. She took an active part in church work and was a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society.
The late Mrs. Schellenberger is survived by Ezra, on the homestead; David, of Fullarton; Samuel, at home; Frank, Alberta; Mrs. Albert Daum of Glencoe; Mrs. Albert Seiger, Burks Falls, Muskoka; Mrs. Norman Feltz, Olds, Iowa, and two other daughter’s, one in Detroit and the other in Iowa.
John Schellenberger
The funeral of John Schellenberger took place Tuesday afternoon, Sept 7, 1926, from his late residence, Fullarton Township, to St.John’s Lutheran cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. W. R. Rueger. The late Mr. Schellenberger was born in Fullarton on the farm where he died. He was a lifelong resident of Fullarton Township, was widely known and well respected in the community and his death will be regretted by a wide circle of friends and relatives.
Besides his sorrowing widow he is survived by four sons and five daughters- Mrs. Daum, Glencoe; Mrs. A. Sieber, Burks Falls; Mrs. Von Syoc and Mrs. Feltz, Minnesota, U. S., Mabel at present in Detroit; Ezra on the homestead; Dave of Fullarton; Frank at present at Stettler, Alta; Sam at present in Saskatchewan; also one brother, Christ, of Downie and two sisters, Mrs. August Elligson of Ellice Townshjp, and Mrs. Dawson, of Stratford. He also leaves 12 grandchildren.

SCHELLENBERGER Gertie - Gertrude Sophia
Schellenberger, age 92, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the
Stratford General Hospital on Sunday October 16, 2011. Born in Ellice
Township, daughter of the late Edward and Ida (Daub) Malcho. She was a
member of 1st St. John's Lutheran Church, Seebach's Hill. Loving mother
of Margaret Schellenberger of Stratford and Marilyn Schellenberger of
Calgary. Predeceased by her beloved husband Howard Schellenberger
(1965), sisters Elsie Rohfritsch and husband Alvin, Clara Wickie and
husband Arthur, Melinda Hartung and husband Gordon; brothers Roy Malcho
and wife Ellen, Albert Malcho and Harold Malcho. Also predeceased by
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lloyd and Hilda Schellenberger, Viola
Hoffmeyer and Bruce Brown. Survived by brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law William and Bernice Heinbuch, Mitchell, Murray Hoffmeyer,
California, Mabel Brown, Elmira and many nieces, nephews and their
families. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home,
430 Huron St. Stratford on Wednesday October 19th from 6-9 p.m. The
funeral service will be held at 1st St. John's Lutheran Church,
Seebach's Hill on Thursday October 20th at 11 a.m. Rev. William Kramer
will officiate. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. As
expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to 1st St.
John's Lutheran Church Building Fund or to the charity of one's choice
through the funeral home
